8 Stage Shower Filter Instructions

Before Installation

Remove existing Shower Head (if any) from your Shower Arm by turning it counterclockwise.

To Install with Shower Head

  1. ​Screw female end of Filter with Washer in place onto your Shower Arm and hand-tighten.

  2. Screw Shower Head with its Washer in place onto Filter and hand-tighten.

To Install with Extension Arm Rainfall Shower Head

  1. Screw female end of Filter with Washer in place onto your Shower Arm and hand-tighten.

  2. Screw Extension Arm with Shower Head and all Washers in place onto Filter, then hand-tighten.

To Install with Overhead Hand Shower

  1. Screw female end of Filter with Washer in place onto your Shower Arm and hand-tighten.

  2. Screw Hand Shower Bracket with its Washer in  place onto Filter and hand-tighten. Then screw one end of Shower Hose onto Hand Shower Bracket and the other end onto Hand Shower Handle. Make sure both Hose Washers are in place.

  3. Place Hand Shower handle with connected Horse into Brackets's Holder.

To Install with Combination Shower System

  1. Screw female end of Filter with Washer in place onto your Shower Arm and hand-tighten.

  2. Screw Water Diverter with its Waster in place onto Filter and hand-tighten. Follow Installation Instructions for you specific Diverter type.

  3. Screw Shower Head with its Washer in place onto Front Outlet of Diverter and hand-tighten. Then Screw one end of Shower Hose onto Hose Outlet of Diverter and the other end onto Hand Shower Handle. Make sure both Hose Washers are in place.

  4. Place Hand Shower handle with connected Horse into Hand Shower Holder that may be located on the water diverter, wall bracket or shower bar, depending on configuration.

To Install with Hand Shower Connected to Wall Outlet, Faucet Spout or HydroFlo Slide Bar

  1. Screw Female end of Filter with Washer in place onto hand shower connection of your wall outlet, faucet spout or HydroFlo Slide Bar, then hand-tighten conncetion.

  2. Screw one end of Shower Hose onto Filter and the other end onto Hand Shower Handle. Make sure both Horse Washers are in place.

Flash Filter After Installation

Before first use, let water run for 1 minute to flash out charcoal-color water.

NOTE: If your shower are has a ball on the end of it instead of thread, it will not work with this shower unit and will need to be replaced with a standard arm available at most plumbing supply stores.

To Change Cartridge

Recommended after 10,000 gallons of water or 6 months of use

  1. Unscrew Lower Filter Cover with connected shower assembly, then pull out used Cartridge.

  2. Insert replacement Cartridge in place of use Cartridge and screw Lower Cover with Shower assembly back on.

  • Materials:

    • Stage 1: PP Cotton​

    • Stage 2: Steel Mesh

    • Stage 3: KDF 55

    • Stage 4: Culcium Sulfite

    • Stage 5: Ceramic Ball

    • Stage 6: Carbon

    • Stage 7: Steel Mesh

    • Stage 8: PP Cotton

IMPORTANT: Hand tighten connections ONLY

DO NOT use wrench or pliers!

DO NOT overtighten shower arm connection - this may cause Washer to ben or disclocate, resulting in leakage. Use plumber's tape ONLY if Washer fails to stop leakage.

  • Step 1 - In case of leakage install Filter with teflon Tape (included). Wrap Teflon tape tightly around the treads of your shower filter, shower arm and shower head.

  • Step 2 - Place Rubber O-rings, Place two rubber o-rings on both the female and male fittings of the shower filter.

  • Step 3 - Twist on Shower arm and Shower Head, Twist shower filter on shower arm and shower head, but not too tightly by turning clock wise.
